140 years of innovation

Born in Germany, Rowenta traces its origins to the entrepreneurial spirit of Robert Weintraud, who founded Weintraud GmbH in Offenbach in 1884. Renamed Rowenta in 1909, the company initially produced a range of metal products, winter tires, and diverse items including writing accessories, toiletries, table lamps, and piano lamps.

Celebrating 140 years in 2024, Rowenta is now a symbol of German craftsmanship and innovation, dedicated to enhancing everyday life with cutting-edge domestic appliances.​
